Another name has been added to the Timelapse Fest 2026 journey. The festival has announced ZED, the alias of Portuguese DJ and producer João Azevedo, as its latest lineup addition. Hailing from Porto, ZED brings a sound built around deep grooves, rich melodies and carefully crafted electronic textures, adding another distinctive voice to this year’s musical curation.
ZED has been steadily making his mark on the electronic music scene with a sound that balances rhythmic depth with melodic warmth.
Based in Porto, João Azevedo has earned recognition from established names within the industry, with his productions finding their way onto respected labels including Blossom Kollektiv and Frau Blau Records.
His musical identity is rooted in deep, atmospheric grooves and lush melodic arrangements, creating tracks that are equally suited to intimate club environments and expansive dancefloors.
One of the latest milestones in his journey comes with “False Mirror,” his debut release on Multinotes. The track represents an important step forward for the Portuguese artist, marking his arrival on a label known for its forward-thinking approach to electronic music.
Now, ZED brings that evolving sound to Morocco for his Timelapse Fest debut.
His addition continues a lineup that has been carefully taking shape over the past few weeks, with RIVO, Baron, Vanco, Meloko, Alexia and Arodes already confirmed. Rather than following a single formula, the lineup brings together artists with different approaches to electronic music, united by a focus on atmosphere, curation and immersive dancefloor experiences.
With ZED now joining the lineup and more announcements still to come, the festival's musical identity is becoming clearer with every reveal.
Another name enters the timeline. And the journey continues
