Timelapse Fest has announced Rui Trintaeum as the latest addition to its 2026 lineup, bringing the Portuguese artist's deep, melodic sound and decades of experience in electronic music to The View Hotel in Bouznika this September.
Rui Trintaeum's relationship with music goes back long before his career behind the decks.
Starting out as a post-punk bassist, the Portuguese artist eventually became one of the driving forces behind Porto's nightlife, developing a musical identity built around groove, emotion and a deep understanding of the dancefloor.
His connection to the city's club culture has continued through highly curated nights at iconic venues such as Gare Porto, where his sets have become known for their ability to adapt to the energy of the room while maintaining a strong musical direction.
At the heart of Rui's approach is his motto, "Music with a Soul."
That philosophy comes through in his sets, which move between jazz, house and techno, creating an emotional journey rather than simply following a conventional club formula.
For Timelapse Fest, his addition brings another distinctive musical perspective to an increasingly diverse international lineup. Rui joins artists including Rivo, Baron, Vanco, Meloko, Alexia, Arodes, ZED, Simone Liberali and BRYOU, among others already announced for the fourth edition.
With his deep grooves, melodic selections and experience reading a crowd, Rui Trintaeum is set to bring his own interpretation of the Timelapse sound to Bouznika.
