Rabat is preparing to welcome some of the world’s leading show-jumping riders and horses as the Longines Global Champions Tour returns to Morocco from October 30 to November 1, 2026. Back in the Moroccan capital for the third consecutive year, the event will host the season finals of both the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) and the Global Champions League (GCL).
This year’s event carries added significance as the Longines Global Champions Tour celebrates 20 years since its creation in 2006. Over three days, Rabat will become a decisive stage in the international show-jumping calendar, with the season’s individual and team champions set to be crowned.
The programme’s key moments include the Global Champions League Final on Friday, October 30, when the season’s team champions will be determined, followed by the Longines Global Champions Tour Final on Sunday, November 1, which will decide the individual champion.
Beyond the competition, the event will feature a specially designed equestrian village spanning 5.5 hectares in central Rabat, near the Hassan Tower, the Royal Theatre and the Mohammed VI Tower. Visitors can also expect a wider programme of cultural and entertainment activities, including musical performances, artistic experiences and national and international equestrian shows.
Rabat first made history as the first African city to host the Longines Global Champions Tour in 2024. Its return to the calendar for a third consecutive year reflects Morocco’s growing role as a host for major international sporting events, while building on the country’s longstanding equestrian heritage.
The Longines Global Champions Tour Rabat Finals 2026 will take place from October 30 to November 1. Tickets are available through the official event ticketing platform.
